Marketing Tom Media is a Digital Marketing company based in Cardiff, Wales. It is headed up by Alun John who, for the past 8 years, has been involved in the Internet industry and has worked with a diverse range of businesses. Over this time he has helped dozens of companies from private and public sector companies and educational establishments, gain an effective Internet presence and increase traffic and their own bottom line. Marketing Tom Media create solutions that best fit the client needs, be they to increase turnover, raise awareness, secure more enquiries or to build community. Marketing Tom Media works with business owners, web developers and strategic and marketing communications experts to develop effective Digital Marketing Solutions. Ideally, we work with clients from the outset of their web projects and this means we can put solid, strategic foundations in place before applying tactical tools at key stages of project development.
Marketing Tom Media adopts a structured approach to the projects we work on and make sure that we have a clear understanding of the client, their customers and their market before tackling any project. Digital Marketing Training
In 2005, Alun worked on creating the UK's first eMarketing Centre of Excellence (Emcoe). Accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing it delivers the eMarketing Award to local businesses. Over the past few years he has delivered courses to over 150 companies and has an excellent understanding of the online marketing needs of both private and public sector organisations.
Since June 2008 Alun has put all his time and energy into developing Marketing Tom Media. Like Emcoe the business is an Accredited CIM Study Centre and the main course is the eMarketing Award, which is now being delivered to businesses across Wales, the South West and even into London. The eMarketing Award is designed to teach candidates how to create strategic digital marketing plans and, unlike other centres, we do explore some of the key tactical tools, such as SEO, blogging and social media.
As a result of demand from people to learn about the most popular tactical tools, Marketing Tom Media has developed a series of 1-day workshops, including Social Media Marketing, Business Blogging, Google AdWords and Google World, which are designed to give candidates hands-on experience in using these tools.
About this Site
This website, Marketing Tom, has been running for around 5 years. It started off life as a blog which (and still does) discussed issues relating to Internet Marketing and Blogging and has now developed into a company in its own right: Marketing Tom Media Ltd. Marketing Tom Media has also built a well-trafficked website called Mad About Madrid, which receives around 600+ visitors a day from all over the world (mainly the USA).
